Advertising and paid links
Advertising keeps AskSpain free. There are no visitor accounts and no targeted advertising.
Recommendation links
Some question pages have a separate Services I recommend section. Any link in that section may earn me money if you click or buy. I use the same disclosure for the whole section, whether or not a particular link pays me.
My editorial standards are simple. I only review or recommend products and services I have used myself. I may also link to other products or services, and I may earn money if you click or buy. I'll always say clearly when something is based on my own experience.
Sources stay separate
Government pages, laws, official guidance and other material used to support an answer appear under Sources. They sit outside the recommendation section and are not covered by its paid-link disclosure.
Sponsored pages
If a company pays for a page or has approval over what it says, I will label that page as sponsored. Payment does not turn an advertisement into an editorial source.
